Obituary of Eva Cymbaluk

CYMBALUK, Ewa October 12, 1957 – May 11, 2023 It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Ewa Cymbaluk (nee Motyl) at the age of 65 from cancer. Ewa was born in Poland, raised in Calgary, Alberta, then moved to Vegreville, where she met her husband Dennis. Her kindness and caring spirit touched many lives and will be lovingly remembered. Ewa is survived by her sisters Veasha Motyl (Leon Fleuren) and Teresa Simpson (Charlie) and her brother Stefan (Jackie); along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Ewa was predeceased by her husband Dennis, the recent passing of her mother Janina, her father Antoni, brother Chester, aunt Milly and uncle Walter. As per Ewa’s wishes, a private funeral service was held at Autumn Rose Funeral Home in Vegreville, Alberta with the Basilian Fathers officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Riverside Cemetery. Appreciation goes out to St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Vegreville, for the care provided and to Autumn Rose Funeral Home for their guidance.
