Oh Lord, my God
When I, in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art.

Dear Anita, Debbie, Dana, Sharon and families - It is with regret that I was not able to attend Li's celebration of life. There is nothing more inspiring than the words shared by you with friends and family during her last weeks with us. Her kindness, her giving and her friendship are enduring. Her commitment to collect and nurture the Gibelhaus ancestry; and to celebrate the family through frequent gatherings was appreciated. While this chapter has come to an end, I know that she is likely nurturing the next family gathering when we all join her in eternity.
With many precious memories

Dear Anita, Debbie, Sharon, Dana and families,
We are sorry for your loss. Aunt Li was the kind of person who would indeed say, "Life is Beautiful." The paragraph starting with " Li lived each day to the fullest," is an accurate summary of her well-lived life.
May God bless you with comfort, strength, support and love of many, and His Peace that passes all understanding. We are glad when a loved one has entered eternal life, but we grieve because we loved and were loved,-we are human. A part of them stays with us, as a part of ourselves goes with them.
Heartfelt sympathy,

I will treasure all the times I talked with Li about birds, other wildlife, music and gardening at her acreage. I feel fortunate to have known such a fine lady.
Here are a few photos of Li with family and friends.

Li and Dan were our neighbours on the farm and I rode the school bus with Anita, Debbie, Eric and Dana. Li raised a wonderful family and while doing so, managed to participate and volunteer for many community events. Clinton remembers Li and Dan teaching him in Teen Church in the old United Church. We will always remember her love of music and her welcoming smile. She was a very special lady and she will be missed, not only by family and friends, but by the entire community.

To the Giebelhaus family,
If only there were something that friends could say or do
Some way they might express their thoughts and help to comfort you
And yet, perhaps, ,just knowing that there are those who care
Will help, at least in some small way, to ease the loss you bear.
Your Mother will always be remembered for her kindness, love and dedication to her family and friends
In Sympathy and Friendship
Sincerely,
Herman and Carolyn Bauer

Elizabeth always gave me a warm welcome, even when I started working as a news correspondent for the Vegreville News Advertiser. She was such a positive person. When I captured her for the Smile of the Week for the local newspaper, she told me she liked everything as it was all a part of life. I will really miss her. Rest in peace dear lady.
