Obituary of Vera Spurr

“In this life we will never truly be apart, for we grew to the same beat of our Mother’s heart.” How true this is, and our hearts are full of memories tonight. It is with great sadness that we announce that Vera Spurr has passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the age of 93 years. We just know that she has already settled into a good long overdue chat with her sister Pauline and was welcomed with open arms by her loved ones who waited for her in heaven. She might already have a batch of butter tarts started! I can certainly hear her laughter and her exclamations as she tells all about her five great grandchildren who were the delight of her last few years before she began to slip away from us. Vera, Mum, Nanny, Granny, Friend, Neighbour… however you knew her, you knew an extraordinary woman. We will miss you everyday. We love you forever Nan.
