Obituary of Patricia Kitt

KITT, Patricia (nee Joy) ~Decendent of the Campbell Clan-Boar Crest (Duke of Argyle)~ It is with deep sadness that the Family of Patricia Kitt announces her passing on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the age of 76 years. She passed away peacefully wih her family at her side in the Two Hills Hospital where she had been in long- term care for the past few years. Patricia will lovingly be remembered by her husband William of 39 years; daughters Lynda (Tom) and Cindy (Brian); sons Dale and Sean; daughter in law Lori (Wilf); grandchildren Daniel (Shawna), Quinn (Lyla), Kenton (Sarah), Bobby Jade (BJ), Jori, Kyle (Kristy), Dean, Brittany and Christian; great grandchildren Lacey, Caden, Shale, Landon and Shayla; sisters Charlene, Aldrina (Zane) and Bonnie along with their families; brothers Walter (Janet) and Ronald along with their families. She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews and her friends. Patricia was predeceased by her first husband Glenn Edward Rowe (1971), son Kenneth Claire (1994), brother Stuart (1944), sister Roberta (2003), sister in law Jackie (2003), step father Elmo Benson (1977), her dad Howard Joy (1996) and her mother Pauline Benson (2007). Patricia will be sadly missed as she enjoyed making and selling her crafts, flower arranging and farmer’s markets. So to all of you that have either met or worked with her at any of these special occasions, she will always be a special person in your hearts. She will always be remembered for her sense of humour, her beautiful smile and welcoming approach to whomever she met. At this time the family would like to extend their grateful thanks to all the staff and doctors who looked after Patricia at the Two Hills Long Term Care, especially in the past few days of her illness. Relatives and friends are invited to a Parastas and memorial celebration on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home (5036-51 Ave.) in Vegreville. Basilian Fathers officiating with interment to follow in the Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery- Two Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Two Hills Resident Council Club” (c/o Two Hill Long Term Care) or to the “Alberta Kidney Foundation.” Tea and luncheon will be served at the Two Hills Senior Centre after the interment.
