I recall meeting Ray and his extended family in my early days as a young district agriculturist (DA). And from time to time thereafter, we'd run into each other at trade shows or ag businesses ... And always, always, over almost 40 years, I always came away thinking here's a kind man with a big heart, a passion for agriculture and a love for family and faith. Ray, it's been an honor and may you rest in peace.

Raymond (and Kathy) were always so kind and warm to us. I remember dancing with Raymond at Kim Shandro’s wedding and he was way better than me. I’ll miss him at family events, we had lots of laughs. Our heartfelt condolences to all of you. Unfortunately we are in BC and will not be able to attend the services. Sending peace and love at this difficult time.
