I am so very sorry for your loss, truly. It astonishes me how many years have passed since my childhood days of seeing Walter (or one of the boys) driving on our dusty road between your Baba's and home. I rode my horse up and down that road a lot and could always tell when one of the Tarkowski boy's was coming up the road. You could hear those noisy trucks a mile away! And guaranteed, if it was Walter, he'd wave and have a great big grin on his face as he slowed down to pass my horse and I along the road. He was careful not to pass me too fast and shoot rocks at me, and he was ALWAYS smiling! I always figured he was a happy man, and so he should have been. He had a big family to love; one who will miss him deeply. My condolences to all of you. ~Andria West
