Obituary of Sophie St. Onge

St. Onge, Sophie June 4, 1931 – September 19, 2020 On Saturday, September 19, 2020, Sophie St. Onge of Andrew, Alberta passed away at the age of 89 years. Sophie is survived by her loving family, son Terry (Margaret); 10 grandchildren Spencer, Dan (Dawn), Krystal (Cory), Blaine (Felisha), Kevin (Dianna), Rachel, Shawn, Wayne, Christy (Darrel) Dahl, Kai (Linda); 14 great-grandchildren Maia, Aubrey, Tanner, Ayden, Serenity, Adora, Liam, Ryley, Brayden, Dustin, Mackenzie, Zachary, Erica and Jenna; great-great granddaughter Isabel; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Sophie was predeceased by her husband Gus; sons Garry (Louise) and Ron; parents Steve and Maria Worobetz; also predeceased by sisters and brothers Kate, Peter, Helen, Ann, Pearl, Bill, Mike, John, Nick and Colleen. At Sophie’s request, cremation has taken place. A inurnment to be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zawale Cemetery. A Celebration of Life to follow at 5005-48 St in Andrew, Alberta. All who knew and loved Sophie are welcome to join us. Social distancing and safety expectations to be followed. Memorial donations may be made to the “Lamont Health Care Centre.”
