To all the Mayko's and Laschuk's :
Our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom, Mother-in-Law and Baba.
She was Auntie Sophie to me, and I have fond images of her from my childhood. I will always remember her kindness, soft spoken voice, mischievous smile/grin, that always reminded me of Baba. She had a humble heart and hard work ethic, to say the least. I hope she is having a wonderful reunion with all of our family in heaven, who have passed on before us. There was surely and warm and loving welcome to her, when she arrived. I know my Dad, Uncle Orest would have been there to hug her home.
Take Care and Comfort in all your Good Memories of Her.

To the Laschuk family
So sorry to hear of the passing of your mom Sophie..what a beautiful lady she was. She truly loved her family and grandchildren which showed in her smile when she spoke of them. I worked with her, and her kindness and compassion she had for others I will always remember.

To The Family of Sophie Laschuk,
I had the honor of working with your mother, grandmother, many years ago at Mary Immaculate Hospital, Mundare. She was so soft-spoken, polite, and respectful, and she became very dear to all of us, and especially her patients. She was one tough lady, and I admired her tenacity, when she chose to further her education and career. I have many warm thoughts of Sophie. May she find eternal peace. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
