LEONTY, John

September 4, 1930 – August 28, 2019

On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, John Leonty of Willingdon, Alberta passed away at the age of 88 years.

John is survived by three sons David (Linda), Philip and Edwin; one daughter Debbie (Roger); granddaughter Ashley and grandson Keith; along with relatives and friends.  John was predeceased by his parents George and Paraska Leonty; one son Dale; three brothers and two sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church – Desjarlais with Father Kolin Berglund officiating.  Interment to follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church – Desjarlais” or the charity of one’s choice.
