April 22, 1927 – June 22, 2019

On Saturday, June 22, 2019, Walter Borody of Vegreville, Alberta passed away at the age of 92 years.

Walter is survived by his loving family, his wife of nearly 30 years, Lillian; step-children Rita (Arden), Bev (Brian), Diane (Leonard), Connie (Dale), Vonnie (Dean) and Michelle (Sebastien); step-daughter-in-law Tanya; sister-in-law Roseanne (Ken); along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Walter was predeceased by his parents Alex and Mary; step-son Clark; step-grandson Darcy; and one sister Martha.

A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Vegreville, Alberta with the Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
