ZYLA, Nestor

June 9, 1932 – December 15, 2018

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, Nestor Zyla of Mundare, Alberta peacefully passed away at the age of 86 years.

Nestor is survived by his loving family, his wife of 45 years, Adeline; son Jim (Jen) Grosul; daughter-in-law Audra Zyla; grandchildren Shaun (Dominique) Zyla, Jody (Codey) Jonker, Melissa (Rick) Allen, Nick Zyla, Janell (Terry) Skiftun, Tenille (Owen) Bergley and Adelyne Grosul; great-grandchildren Sam, Ben, Tyson, Tristan, Quinn, Liv, Zara and Zofia. Nestor was predeceased by son Ron; his parents Nick and Nancy Zyla; brother Lawrence and sister Adeline.

A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Vegreville, Alberta with the Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment to follow in the Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery – Mundare. Memorial donations may be made to the Vegreville Care Centre – Patient Comfort Society.”
