November 4, 1931 - October 16, 2014
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Anne Matiaszow of Andrew, Alberta at the age of 82 years.
Anne is survived by her husband of 60 years, Victor; one son Gary (Joan Dale); one daughter Gail (Marcel Lemire); five grandchildren Brent (Terralynn), Brandon, Kara-Leigh, Matthew and Hanna; two sisters Elaine Boulton and Doris Fediuk; one sister in law Doris Koshman. Anne was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Alexandria Koshman; two brothers Harry (Mary) Koshman and Edward Koshman; two sisters Mary (Mike) Fediuk and Pearl (Mike) Decore; one brother in law Nick Fediuk. Anne was a loving, loyal and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. Anne was an amazingly strong woman both inside and out. She will be dearly missed.
A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Andrew Community Centre. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church (5110-51 Ave.) in Andrew, Alberta with Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery – Vegreville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.” Autumn Rose Funeral Home Ltd.,Vegreville,780-603-5800.
