Obituary of Fred Ronald Pewarchuk

PEWARCHUK, Fredrick Ronald

March 18, 1936 – May 21, 2018

It saddens us to write of the passing of our beloved “Fred.”  Fred passed suddenly on May 21, 2018 at the Archer Memorial Hospital in Lamont, Alberta surrounded by his loving wife and two sons.

Fred leaves in passing his dear wife of 60 years, Lidy; his sons Fraser (Denise) and Douglas; 5 grandchildren Trevor (Cody), Arlen, Anastasia, Mykaylo and Nykolai; two sisters Julie Waldron and Irene Vause; as well as many treasured family members and friends.

Fred had a zest for life- he loved all life had to offer; family, friends, community and the church.  Best of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and being surrounded by all his loved ones.

A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lamont Recreation Centre.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John The Baptist Russo-Orthodox Church – Chipman, Alberta with Father Oleksii Suraiev officiating.  Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “St. John The Baptist Russo-Orthodox Church – Chipman.”
