March 31, 1960 – September 25, 2017
It is with broken hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Kathy Kowalchuk of Willingdon, Alberta, a beloved wife, mother and baba at the age of 57 years.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband George; two daughters Nicole (Danny) and Colette (Brady); son Terry; and two grandsons Caden and Ethan; her mother Jean; sister Karen (Kerry); two brothers Kevin (Karen) and Keith (Laurie); father in law Henry; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Raymond; mother in law Shirley; and granny Eileen. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their kindness to Kathy and her family during her short stay.
A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Willingdon Recreation Centre. A Private Funeral Service for Family will be held at Borowich Ukrainian Orthodox Church with Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.”
