HAYDUK, Rose Marie
August 25, 1916 – August 23, 2016
On Tuesday, August 23, 2016, Rose Marie Hayduk of Vegreville, Alberta passed away two days shy of her 100th birthday.
Rose is survived by her loving family, children Dianne Cheremshynski, Henrietta (Edward) Komarnisky, Jim (Phyllis), Jerry (Cathy) and Myron (Rhonda); 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one sister Tillie Lazowski; sister-in-law Terry Hayduk; brothers-in-law Eugene Pehowich and Bill Bohmer; along with numerous relatives and friends. Rose was predeceased by her husband Steve; one daughter Mary; three sons Steve, Harvey and John; grandson Mark Hayduk; granddaughter Nicole Hayduk; son-in-law Ron Cheremshynski; sisters Katie, Annie, Mary, Olga, Elsie and Jennie.
A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church – Vegreville, Alberta with the Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Holy Trinity Parish” or to “Akasu Palliative Care Society.”
