Regis arrived on his well-cared-for motorcycle in August 2011, to look at a cabin. In Winter and Spring 2012-13 he settled his motorhome here in B.C. Regis split wood, took care of beloved old Chevy, and often cooked outside on a campfire -- sometimes creating coloured flames with his copper-tubing trick. Regis was unique and special, talented and skilled in so many ways, a complex person full of sweetness and kindness. He said, "My parents taught us to put others first." He will be very much missed. Rest in peace, dear friend.
