Whenever I think of Kevin, I see that mischievous grin and the glint in his eye. The first time I met him, he didn't tell me who he was, he just walked up to me and said "Hi Carrie!". Of course he had me scrambling trying to remember his name or who he was. We chatted for a while then he walked away. I swear he could hear me asking around, "Who was that?" He could always make me laugh. He was a pillar of strength for Erin and I when our Mom suddenly passed away. He always took care of the people he loved. He is truly going to be missed.

Willy, Marge and Seimers family and friends of Kevin. The Lord is near to the broken- hearted. He is close to those crushed in spirit. Psalm 23
One never expects as a parent that one of our children would go before us. The Lord is with you always! Remembering you in our prayers daily. Kevin loved you all. Only believe! Jesus said, I will come again.
Covering you in love and prayers,
Colette Tremblay and family

To Erin, Brendan, Lucas and families
It comes as an incredible shock to hear of your sudden loss. It’s been very devastating to hear!
I worked with Kevin for many years. Even before he knew/met you, and to watch him… as he met you, got married and started a family. I saw a man that was VERY proud of his family.
He was a very hard worker and had so much passion for everything he did. He was such a community person also and always seemed willing to volunteer and help.
I remember many times you stopping by with the boys at work and visiting. It was so awesome watching them grow and to see Kevin with them. He was very proud. The two of you seemed so good together.
Haha… I remember the old diesel VW and it was a big competition about who was going to have the most miles on their vehicles before they cratered lol. I had an old Ranger with a mileage that was eventually nearing 500,000 km over the years and Kevin was always… I’m catching up to you. It was always a fun thing comparing lol.
After I got laid off in 2015, I lost contact with Kevin. That day was so emotional and I know it bothered Kevin greatly. I ran into him once, about a year after that at the gas station on hwy 16 near Ardrossan. It was nice to have a little chat with him.
My son Kyle ended up meeting Kevin in 2022 when Kyle started with Secure. I think Kevin even gave him some extra help getting started knowing he was my son. I really appreciated that and I know Kyle did also. I can almost hear him telling you Barts son is working with us now! He was that kind of person and he always showed me a lot of respect.
It is so unbelievable to think he is gone now! He was taken way before his time and it’s with my deepest deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to you Erin, Brendan and Lucas. I can’t imagine your sorrow and pain. You lost an incredible husband and father. May the many memories bring your family some comfort in this very difficult time. We’ve lost a good one!
Barton Erickson.

The passing of our amicable neighbour Kevin leaves a void impossible to fill. We remember him for his innate kindness, warmth, munificence and talent for crafts; traits that made him a beacon in our community. Unyieldingly selfless, gentle yet passionate, his departure is deeply mourned. Our sentiments encapsulated by the phrase - until we meet again at the Lord's second return, rest peacefully dear friend. You are profoundly missed Kevin; love forever lingers where you have been.

You have always been someone I looked up to. Always your little shadow, whether it was street hockey in front of Richard's house, playing in the bush at the fort, gopher hunting at John&Irene's, didn't matter I wanted and had to tag along. The best road trip I've ever been on was with you, the long haul down to California, across the states and up to Ontario for Kathy's wedding. The stories and memories are endless....I love you bro!!

Uncle Kevin would always come visit whether it was on a holiday or unplanned event, and every time he made sure to make us all laugh and have a good time. Specially, uncle Kevin and his brother, my dad Shawn would swing and toss us around ❤️ he would take us camping and fishing all the time spending as much time he could making us smile.

I have known Kevin for many years as our children have grown up and have gone to school together. He was an amazing man with a heart of gold. I love that he took on the vegreville vortex football team which allowed the kids to continue to play a sport they loved to do. He also allowed my son to help coach with him last summer and my son has a lot of respect and gratitude towards him as Kevin had taught him alot of things. The football world will miss you Kevin tremendously as well as the rest of us and the community. Sending all my love and prayers to the family
