Obituary of Nadia Yakimyshyn

YAKIMYSHYN, Nadia May 24, 1930 – March 4, 2024 On Monday, March 4, 2024, Nadia Yakimyshyn of Sherwood Park, Alberta, formerly of Vegreville, Alberta passed away at the age of 93 years. Nadia is survived by her loving family, children Henry (Joanne), Bernie (Ellen), John and Patricia (Dwayne); daughter-in-law Bernice; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Nadia was predeceased by her husband Nick; sons Mark and Terry; daughter Geraldine in infancy; parents Alex and Mary Mokry. A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Sophia Ukrainian Catholic Parish - Baseline Road and Range Road 224 – Sherwood Park, Alberta with Fr. Rendy Yackimec officiating. Graveside Service and interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery – Vegreville.
