Dear Gladys,
We are saddened by Wally’s recent passing and offer you our deepest condolences.
We have many fond memories of your time at the ATB Willingdon branch. We remember the Stollery fund raising and social functions that you and Wally would host. We enjoyed the treats he would bake.
Our prayers are with you.

Gladys, so sorry about Wally's passing. His last joke on everyone was to have the funeral ending up on the coldest day known to mankind!
He was a good man who could fix anything and knew a bargain when he saw it.
Take care and looking forward to seeing you.
Your favourite cousin Doug!!!

We didn’t spend a lot of time together, but when we did, it was wonderful. I will miss his smile, humour, and hugs. I loved surprising him with a visit when he least expected it. He could tell a joke or story with such a straight face. Grandma's and Mom were my connection to him. When they went home, he was my connection to them. Now I hope to connect with other people who knew him. He will live on through stories and memories told by family and friends . I hope to hear more.

Lighting a candle to remember how Uncle Walter lit up our lives with his great smile. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. So many things will remind me of him,- old tractors, toothpicks, Willingdon, wild mushrooms, his garage, eating pierogies, and a so much more! Love him tons!
