It was my good fortune to have worked for and with Joanne when she had the concession at the bingo hall a few years back. She was a natural comedian! What fun we had! She was as awesome a boss as she was a friend. Joanne was always good and kind to everyone which is why so many people adored her and why she’ll be so very missed.

To Murray and son John and the rest of the family's. I sorry to here about Joanne passing away. I got to know her when she worked at the vegreville co-op store in the restaurant department of the store. That's when I started working at the store in the produce department of the store. She is a great person to know and she will be very well miss. May she rest in peace and you all are in my thoughts and prayers for you all. I'll never forget her shy laugh, sincere smile, and twinkle in her eyes. I loved going to Zaleschuk's farm in Two Hills to play with all the kids. I remember little Joanna with the cute hair sitting on Great-Baba's lap, munching on kobasa, and a big smile on her face. Keep on smiling kiddo!

Oh my dear Auntie Joanne. I will miss your spunk, your jokes and beautiful kind heart. I know we will meet again, in a field of Sun Flowers eating Caramel Apples and dance the Kolomyika. And I will be sure to bring a Caramel Pecan Cheesecake.

It is sad to read of Joanne's passing and know how much losing someone dear, hurts.
