November 29, 1938 – June 20, 2023
On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, Ernie Paltzat of Edmonton passed away at the age of 84.
He is survived by his wife Mary; children Bernadette (David), Michael, Chris and Rob; grandchildren Samantha (Scott), Eric (Anne), Ayla, Bennett and Jude; brother Allan (Josephine); sister-in-law Helen; along with numerous family and friends. Ernie was predeceased by his parents John and Anne, and brother Eugene.
A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ascension Ukrainian Catholic Church – New Kiew with Fr. Jim Nakonechny officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to “Holy Ascension Ukrainian Catholic Church – New Kiew.”
The family wishes to thank the staff of Unit 1 East for the kind and compassionate care given to Ernie.
