When my sister, Olga, and I were quite young, I remember going to the farm for a week or so in the summer. I followed Auntie Olga around as she did her chores and helped in the garden. I was especially fascinated watching her milk the cow(s) then separate the milk. But mostly, I remember how kind she was and her smile. When My son, Francis, and I went to the Reunion and her 60th birthday, we had planned to sleep in the van. But she insisted we spend the night with her and Uncle George. It was a great visit, catching up and my son meeting them. I just wish that, over these last many years, I could have been closer and able to visit more. But I have my memories.

Before Tim Horton's there was George and Olga's coffee. The house was always filled with love and laughter. Our family is blessed by the most simple and joyous gatherings. Never had to say the words, but every cabbage leaf was rolled with it, finger-pinched edges of each perogy, garlic dill and cream covered LOVE. Baba was soft spoken, but said IT best. She has all of our love, and I wish her all of the peaceful rest she deserves. вся моя любов завжди
