I have very fond and special memories of Arlene. I was alone in the hospital and she sat with me and hugged me. I was a scared young girl. She made me feel better as a patient and she taught me about being a nurse. I will always remember how special her gift was.

There are so many good things to say about Auntie Arlene. Where does one begin? Her infectious smile, her love for children and animals, the best potato salad ever, her laughter was like song, or the twinkle in her eye that never left, even when she was in pain. Always a good conversationalist, good neighbor and friend. Her love for her children and grandchildren, was undeniable and she was so fiercely proud of all of them. We were fortunate to have Auntie Arlene and all the wonderful memories of her and Uncle Gary!
