August 11, 1928 – November 16, 2014
On Sunday, November 16, 2014, Olga Laschuk of Andrew, Alberta, peacefully passed away with her family by her side at the age of 86 years.
Olga is survived by her loving family, two sons and two daughters: Peter (Sylvia), Carol, John (Christine) and Christine; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one step great grandson; one sister Jean Kornicki; one brother Allan (Marion) Eschak; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Olga was predeceased by her husband Bill; beloved son Richard; and her parents John and Annie Eschak.
An Evening Vigil will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church in Mundare, Alberta where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Michael Schumacher as the Celebrant. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the “Alzheimer Society of Alberta.” The family wishes to thank the staff of Father Filas Manor and Mary Immaculate Health Centre- Mundare for their care and compassion shown to Olga.
