YURKO, Darlene Georgette It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Darlene Yurko after a courageous battle with cancer. An avid cook, baker and lover of animals, Darlene could almost always be found “throwing something together” in the kitchen or overseeing the maternity pen, as the ranch manager on the farm. She is survived by her loving daughter, Devon(Cole) and her loving son Dylan, along with her fur son Macy, her brother Wes, niece Lachelle and nephew Logan. Darlene was predeceased by her parents George and Doreen and brother Dale. Darlene would like to thank Shannon Nikiforuk for always being there and helping to fulfill her final wishes. She would also like to thank her wonderful family and friends that were there to provide love and support during her journey. Finally, Darlene would like to thank the Two Hills Health Centre staff and Dr. Satar for their excellent care and compassion. Donations can be made to Haying in the 30’s Cancer Support Society.
